This knockout herbaceous perennial is evergreen, with soft, rounded silver leaves that look like pewter. It is fast-growing and is a popular annual in colder climates. Often selected to cascade out of planters and pots, it also makes a durable and lovely groundcover, rooting along the stem nodes if soil is available. Silver Ponyfoot needs good drainage, and will appreciate some afternoon shade in the hot low deserts.
