Senecio barbertonicus is an evergreen succulent bush, up to 6 feet tall and wide, with a fleshy, cylindrical, finger-like, light green leaves that point upwards along the branches and are crowded toward stem tips, up to 4 inches long and 0.4 inch  in diameter. The flowers are yellow, up to 3 inches long and 0.4 inch in diameter.

Uses: useful variation of colour and texture. Use this plant with other shrubs in a herbaceous or shrub border.
