Giant wildrye. Sturdy grass has wide leaves that are greenish when young, then mature to a nice blue-grey. It spreads by underground stems and is useful for its bold presence and adaptability. Selected on Prince Island of the Channel Islands.

Uses: Useful on banks, in large scale plantings and for erosion control.
