With wheat colored blooms rising above the foliage in spring, summer and fall it is not to pass by.
Fairytails should be planted in full sun. It forms 2 to 3 foot wide clumps with upright foliage to 4′. This low maintenance ornamental grass is extremely heat tolerant and drought resistant and evergreen in southern California, zones 9-11. They can be used in beds and in mass plantings.
